A local-first photo manager for your Mac.
Search by what's in the picture. Find duplicates. Clear junk.
Search what you remember
Type "beach at sunset" or "kids on the swings." Curator finds your photos by what's actually in them — no tagging required.
Reclaim space
Surface duplicate and near-duplicate shots, screenshots, dark frames, and blurry mistakes. Review and discard with one click.
Everything stays on your Mac
No cloud upload, no account, no subscription. Your library is indexed locally and never leaves the device.
First-launch instructions
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Curator into your Applications folder.
The very first time you open Curator, right-click the app and choose Open instead of double-clicking. macOS will ask if you're sure — click Open. You only need to do this once.
This is needed because the current beta isn't yet notarized with Apple. After the first launch, updates arrive automatically and silently.
